Got the new Xperia Z3 Compact? If so, here’s a helpful tip you might need – we’ve been asked by several people already how to insert the nano SIM and microSD card in the Xperia Z3 Compact so we thought why not produce a short video showing you how to do just this.
The Xperia Z3 Compact (and the Xperia Z3) use a Nano SIM card (unlike previous Sony devices which have all used micro SIM cards) but does keep up the tradition of past devices by securing the waterproof abilities of the handset through flaps that cover the crucial ports. The Xperia Z3 Compact comes with 16GB on board memory that can be expanded further (by up to 128GB) using a microSD card and in the video below, we show you where and how to insert the nano SIM and microSD into your Xperia Z3 Compact.
It’s quite interesting that the microSD card and nano SIM cards go in different parts of the device but nonetheless, we’re glad to see that Sony has managed to fit both into such a Compact device (pun intended). We would like to see them evolve the SIM card tray as this can be quite cumbersome to remove from the device.
